These are the homes currently for sale inside the Betty Gilbert Middle catchment, drawn to the boundary School District 35 (Langley) publishes. Two elementary schools sit inside it and feed into Betty Gilbert.
The same footprint as Aldergrove Community Secondary: 260 to 276 Street from the border at 0 Avenue north to about 44 Avenue, with the west edge stepping in to 264 Street above 32 Avenue. The school is near the north end, a few blocks from both feeder elementaries; the strip runs a long way south of them across acreage toward the border. Being inside the boundary is not the same as being guaranteed a seat, and there is more on that below.
This is the middle-school half of a matched pair. Betty Gilbert's line is Aldergrove Community Secondary's line, so the only question a buyer here needs to settle is which of the two elementaries the address feeds.

How to read these numbers
These are provincial assessments, not rankings, and they are published by the B.C. Ministry of Education under the Open Government Licence. The figure is the share of students who wrote the assessment and scored in the top bands — On Track or Extending for the Foundation Skills Assessment, Proficient or Extending for the Grade 10 assessments.
Surrey and B.C. sit beside every number on purpose. Grade 10 Numeracy runs at about half the province, so a figure in the forties is close to normal and reads as a failing grade only if you see it on its own. A number without its baselines is not a fact, it is an impression.
What they do not measure: teaching, the programs a school runs, how a particular child would do there, or whether anyone is happy. They measure two skills, on one day, among the students who sat the test. This site does not rank schools and does not publish a rating, because the question buyers actually ask is which catchment an address is in — not which school is best.
Being inside a catchment is not a guaranteed seat
School District 35 (Langley) reserves the right to redirect students once a school is full. In 2024 Surrey closed in-catchment registration at three of its schools, so this is not a technicality. The boundary tells you which school an address is assigned to; it does not reserve a desk in it.

Questions about this catchment
Parkside Centennial and Shortreed. Every elementary catchment in the Langley district nests inside exactly one middle catchment, so a home in this boundary feeds one of those two for elementary and then Betty Gilbert for the middle years. Parkside Centennial is just north of the secondary school and Shortreed just south of it, so the two elementary catchments divide the strip roughly north and south.
Aldergrove Community Secondary, a few blocks away, and there is no exception by address: the middle and secondary catchments are identical. Aldergrove Community also runs exploration classes for Betty Gilbert students, so the transition is between two schools that already work together. With about 490 students at the middle school in 2025/2026, the pair is small by Langley standards.
It follows the Township's grid rather than the town's edge. The line runs from 260 Street to the Abbotsford boundary at 276 Street and from the international border north to 44 Avenue, which takes in the town itself and the acreage south of it down to 0 Avenue. A rural address south of the town centre still feeds Betty Gilbert and then Aldergrove Community; check the specific address against the district's map rather than the postal community.
